General


How does extra work?
Once you as service center owner have registered, you can earn extra points by purchasing qualifying Bosch Automotive Aftermarket parts from participating wholesale distributors. In addition, special promotions may be offered throughout the year making it even easier to build your extra point balance.

These points can be redeemed for awards such as travel, electronics, sporting goods, home appliances and more…

What is the difference between extra and other loyalty programs?
extra is unique due to the broad range of products for which points can be earned. After registration, you will be able to earn points for every purchase of qualified Bosch Automotive products throughout the year. Additional campaigns during the year make it even easier to increase your points balance and benefit from the large assortment of attractive awards.

What hours does the extra Customer Service operate?
Our Customer Service operates Monday-Sunday, 24 hours a day. Our Customer Service will be closed on federal holidays.

Register


Who can register for extra?
extra is open to all automotive service centers that repair and maintain electric, hybrid, gasoline and/or diesel passenger vehicles. Resellers are not eligible to join the program.

How do I register for extra?
To register for extra follow these steps:
  1. Click on “Register” from the top menu.
  2. Fill in the required data in the registration form.  Your email or tax ID will be your username.
  3. You will receive an email to set your password. This confirms your account.
Why do I need to register my personal details?
By registering your personal details it helps us to better tailor communications, promotions and updates specifically for you.

Are there any membership fees?
No, registering for and participating in the extra loyalty program is free of charge.
 

How can I earn points?


You can earn extra points when you purchase qualifying Automotive Aftermarket products from the participating wholesale distributors that you selected during the registration process.  These points can be redeemed for awards such as travel, electronics, sporting goods, home appliances and more…  Points are uploaded on a monthly basis.

Redeeming


What can I redeem my points for?
You can redeem your points for a broad selection of products, ranging from electronic items to home & garden. You can view the catalog after you have registered and logged-in.

Can I redeem my points for cash?
No, you cannot redeem your points for cash.

Will my collected points expire?
Yes. Points credited to your account will expire on December 31st, the year after they were credited.
For example, points earned in 2017 will expire on December 31, 2018.

You will be notified in advance if your points are about to expire. You will have plenty of opportunity to redeem your points in time.

Can expired points be reissued?
Unfortunately, expired points cannot be reissued. We apologize for any inconvenience.

When can I redeem my points for awards?
After completing your registration, you can redeem points as soon as you have accumulated sufficient points on your account for the award of your choice. Alternatively, a credit card may be used to pay the difference between the award point value and your points balance.

How can I place an order?
To place an order, please select your favorite award(s) and add it to your shopping cart. Please keep in mind that you have to be logged in. The ordering process then starts automatically. Please verify that you are the service center owner, check your delivery address and click "Complete this Order". You will automatically receive an order confirmation including your order number. An email will also be sent to the email address on file with your order confirmation.

Is it possible to make an additional payment to get an award that has a higher point value than available on the account?
Yes, an additional payment is possible.

Are there any shipping costs?
No, shipping is free of charge.

How long will it take to receive my order?
While 90% of the items will ship between 2-5 days, there are some items that can take up to 15 days.  Shipping time will be specified under each item.
Please contact Customer Service for all order inquiries at info@extra-awards.com.  Customer Service hours are Monday-Sunday, 24 hours a day.  Our Customer Service center is closed on federal holidays.

Can the award(s) be delivered to other countries?
No, the awards can only be delivered to all 50 states.  We are unable to ship to US territories or other countries.

Who do I contact if my order is incorrect?
If your order is incorrect upon receipt, please contact the extra Customer Service either by e-mail info@extra-awards.com or by phone: (877) 716-3908 and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Customer Service hours: Monday to Sunday, 24 hours. Our Customer Service center is closed on federal holidays.

Can I return the award(s) if I change my mind?
All merchandise returns should be made directly with our Customer Service.  Please disregard any specific return shipping information provided by the retailer/supplier on merchandise packing slips.  Please review the complete return policy located in the Terms & Conditions section of the award catalog.
 
 

My Account


I've forgotten my password. What do I have to do?
Please click here. On the next page, enter your e-mail address used for extra. An e-mail will be sent to you immediately allowing you to set a new password.

How long will it take to activate my account?
Once you register, you will receive a verification email. Your account will be activated as soon as account verification has been completed.

When will extra points be credited to my account?
Points will be credited automatically to your account around 2-3 weeks after the month's end.

How do I change my password?
If you would like to change your password, sign into your account and go to Personal Data.

How do I see my points?
To see your points sign into your account with your username and password and go to Point History.

The address of my workshop has changed, how can I update this information?
In order to change your personal information sign into your account with your username and password and go to Personal Data.

Can I transfer my points to another account?
The security of your data and account are our utmost concern. For that reason, it will unfortunately not be possible to transfer points between accounts.
 

Technical Problems


Why are emails from extra displayed on my screen with errors in them?
The correct display of e-mails depends on the individual settings of your e-mail client/browser.

E-mails from extra are sent as multipart mail, i.e. in HTML and TXT format. If you are unable to view our formatted HTML mail correctly (i.e. broken images, strange size, missing texts), please change your browser settings to allow TXT e-mails only.

I am missing points. Where are they?
Please check your points on your account carefully. If you still think you are missing out on points, please contact Customer Service at info@extra-awards.com.

Termination


How can I terminate my participation in extra?
In order to close your account and terminate your participation in extra, please go to your Personal Data and click on "Delete account". Alternatively, you can terminate your participation by writing to the extra Customer Service at info@extra-awards.com.

In order to enable us to process your account closure quickly and smoothly, please include in your account closure email/letter your participant name (with registered e-mail address) and the reason for closing your account.

How long will my data be stored after termination?
90 days after a termination all personal data is irrevocably deleted.
